Thanks for looking up the bind off for me. It's probably really easy, but I just can't figure it out.
I like the challenge of reading Hemingway - the way nothing's on the surface, and you have to work to figure it out. I could spend a whole semester discussing and writing papers about "Hills Like White Elephants."
RYC: Yep, could probably get about 2 decent restaurant meals from one pair of destroyed jeans. I was startled by new faded jeans (or stonewashed as the labels say) when they first appeared at outrageous prices in our shops. When my niece started buying them I suggested that she just stick her old jeans through the wash a few times. But, apparently, it wouldn't be the same. Go figure...I'm sure this generation have reverse synaptic transmission of nerve impulses...
Jeans are still my favourite piece of clothing - who knows when one might wish to scramble up a nearby tree or slide down a handy muddy bank. Fancy frocks are not really suitable for such pleasures, jeans, on the other leg, are perfect for them.
RYC: I got a few questions into the quiz, and realized it was so polarized I couldn't answer anything honestly. So I skedaddled.
