It’s my birthday today. I’m not working. I have a lot of work to do, and lots of housework as well, ut I once read somewhere that it isn’t fun to have nothing to do — it’s fun to have lots of things to do and not to do them.
That’s the plan. #1 son baked me a cake, with layers and everything, and I have plenty to read, so I expect to be doing lots of lolling around. Possibly a nice walk once the sun comes up. That;s it.

Hope you have had a wonderful Birthday and have lolled to your hearts content and filled your head with lovely words and visions of things other than paying work and housework!!
Thank you so much!@WriterDebNJ - Thank you so much!
I know I’m late, but I hope your birthday was the best ever!
@lostarts - Thanks! It was great. How are you doing these days?
I’m sick all the time. I have a HUD subsuidized apartment, and the management won’t let me keep it healthy for me. It’s a combination of preexisting health issues for me and a management that want’s to save money so much they’re willing to harm tenents, and HUD, who let them do whatever they want.
i’ve been sick for almost 4 of the 5 years I’ve been here and permanently lost the hearing in my right ear because of them.
HUD opined that I should sue them, and I’m beginning to think they’re right. I feel like they’re going to kill me if I don’t.
